How Do You Measure a Bosal?

Hold the side buttons at 4 inches inside.

While keeping them at that width, measure the length from the inside of the nose button to the inside of the heel knot.

The diameters designated (3/4 inch, 5/8ths, 1/2, 3/8ths) are measuring the bars of the body, not the nose button.

Metric conversion:

1 inch 2.54 cm
3/4 inch 1.9 cm (19 mm)
5/8 inch 1.59 cm (16 mm)
1/2 inch 1.27 cm (13 mm)
3/8 inch .95 cm (10 mm)
4 inches 10 cm
10 inches 25.4 cm
10.5 inches   26.7 cm
11 inches   28 cm
11.5 inches   29.2 cm
12 inches   30.5 cm
12.5 inches   31.7 cm
