We never ship gear that is damaged. Specify postal insurance to protect your investment. If a package is lost or damaged in transit, we hope that customers have opted for insurance; we are not responsible for damage or loss sustained in transit. If there is a discrepancy in creative interpretation of custom gear or sizing, we will do whatever we can to make it right. However, we cannot accept returned personalized or used items.
The consulting process is paramount to being "on the same page" for the final product.We spend a great deal of time answering questions and offering our experience to customers prior to ordering. In general, we offer store credit or gift certificates on approved returns or approved cancelled orders. Being a very small company, the deposit on a custom item, whether braiding or leatherwork, is already invested in materials and overhead for your order.The customer covers shipping costs unless the item is being adjusted or replaced. We strongly suggest using Delivery Confirmation in the USA and insurance on all shipments. If a package is being shipped to your ranch or home, please coordinate to make certain that it will be safe.
Handwork takes the time it takes. Custom-made items are dependent upon: material availability, the weather, the functional health of the maker and the maker's backlog at the time of order. Please allow time for proper production of gear. We will do our best to give you an accurate estimate of when your order will be ready, but these estimates are subject to change.
Order cancellation: We understand that special circumstances may force you to cancel an order. Our response to cancellations will vary at our discretion, and will be based on factors such as timeliness of cancellation, what stage any work is in, and the ordered item. Cancellations will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Custom work is non-refundable.

Remember - dealing with horses is wonderful, but they can be unpredictable. Gear can only be as safe as it is sized, adjusted, used, and maintained properly.
