Lynelle is a native of California. She grew up on a ranch rich in rural experiences. She attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, majoring in Biological Sciences. This knowledge and lifelong love of her surrounding environment are richly depicted in her paintings. She has attended the California Art Institute and studies with several prestigious Western artists. Lynelle has been an active member of Women Artists of the West since 1989. her pieces hang in collections both nationally and internationally. "I have always loved the animals and environment that surround me in California. Having lived on a ranch all my life I have had the opportunity to study both the livestock and the landscape during the many hours I've spent among them horseback. I try to convey through my paintings the beauty that surrounds me and the story of contemporary ranch life that I love." Lynelle currently lives with her family on a working cattle ranch in Central California. |
