Paul is now 93 coming 94, but vital
and still painting. They made him stop riding a few months
ago (which was a bummer for him, but rather practical). He
still attends the brandings and visits with working horsemen
from all over the West. Paul lived in Santa Barbara and now
resides in Arizona. He and his wife, Gertrude, were regular
exhibitors at the original California Vaquero Show held at
Sanat Paula. Paul is a terrific artist in oil, water color,
pen and ink, etc. He loves the ranching history of the
Pacific Slope which he accurately depicts in his work which
is collected internationally.
