Whether portraying cowboys,
Indians, animals or children, the more tender side
of Western Art is the theme of Vel Millers work.
She has lived on ranches most of her life. She and
her husband Warren currently raise Quarter Horses
and Texas Longhorn Cattle on their coastal ranch.
Vel attended the Art League of Los Angeles, and
later taught there. She and her artwork have been
featured in several editions of Southwest Art, Art
of the West, and Western Horseman Magazines. Vel is
also listed in Contemporary Western Artist, Who's
Who in American Art and Who's Who in the West. Her
artwork includes bronze sculptures, oils, drawings,
limited edition prints and note cards.
