The "Scarf Lady" (Dorothy) hand rolls custom sized silks in the largest selection of limited edition wild rags and hard to find single wraps available.
Working buckaroos, vaqueros, cowboys, city folks or "aficionados" may select sizes, styles, shapes, patterns & colors to suit specific needs. Our extensive selection of limited edition silks assures your individuality.

We hear claims of so-called "handmade" wild rags and scarves all the time. They are almost always made with a machine or a serger. That is not at all the same. When we say "hand-rolled", that means with a needle and thread the traditional way.

Many of the scarves sold are actually made in China due to cheap labor. Others are made on sergers or other sewing machines. CC’s old-fashioned hand-rolled edges give your scarf a refined look, feel & set. Hand-rolled edges are unlike most found today.

California Classic’s mascadas are made in the USA by Dorothy. You can often catch her sewing in the booth at shows. Stop and visit about your needs. You can be “draped” to find the right color that will accent you and your outfit.

Buying for an ex-football player with almost no neck? Looking for a special size? Have special issues to be addressed? Email (info@calclassics.net) or call Dorothy and discuss your needs.

If your dog tries to eat your scarf (or other horrors happen to it), send out a call. Dorothy may be able to re-work, re-hem or make some other "save" of your favorite. You will only pay for shipping.

Your wild rag can be accented with classic and custom slides for an individual touch whether for work or play. CC’s varied collection of sterling, gold, bone or rawhide slides will add a touch of panache.

Don't forget scarves are a great gift certificate idea. Prices depend upon the fabric chosen and the size due to the labor time.
