This #120 Schaezlein sterling buckle features a fast horse and rider in gold fill and four GF flowers. It is lightly antiqued and measures 1.5 x 1.75 inches overall but fits a one inch belt.

The #135 shape sterling buckle with cut out Russell bucking horse and rider with quirt sawed out in gold fill is 2.5 in x 2 in.

You may recognize some of these figures as reminiscent of favorite old time Western artists. The classic ones seen on Visalia, Keyston Bros. and Olsen Nolte saddles and gear were created by R. Schaezlein and Son. They helped set the style of saddle embellishment for many of the historic saddle shops and continue to do so today after a century and a quarter.

The #145 shape depicting a longhorn of gold fill is 2 7/16" X 1 5/8"

The #165 sterling buckle can be embellished in a variety of ways. This one boasts the highly recognizable Schaezlein gold horse head encircled in a gold wreath. 3 1/16" x 2" is just right for men's dress pants or for a lady.
