Kelly Outfit Experienced saddlemaker, Jim Kelly now of Price, Utah, made this cute little 14.5 inch seat saddle complete with browband headstall and breast collar to match. Three tone with background dye and a darker border, Jim crafted this one on a form fitter tree carving and stamping the partial oak leaf and geometric pattern. Carefully lined and stitched 2.5 inch half stirrup leathers, Jim has put his creative stamp on this saddle. Durable rawhide is used on the Cheyenne roll, 3 " x 3" dally horn binding and 2 inch bound stirrups adjustable with Blevins buckles. In skirt rigged set at 7/8ths it has a 14 inch swell and a 4" x 12" oval cantle. Initials are carved into the back of the cantle which can be covered with your silver cantle plate. You will need a cinch, but the horn is lagged with mule hide ready to rope. Virtually new, this Kelly saddle set would make the nicest barrel racing or pleasure riding rig in the county. If you are into Cowboy Mounted Shooting, this saddle could be the ticket for you with looks and security to boot. It is quite lightweight and would be ideal for a lady or youth for many years to come. $5,000 |
